This site exists to support architects interested in improving efficiency, increasing the quality of your documents, reducing your liability and increasing your profitability. The building and construction industry has changed the way we work over the last 15-20 years. We have to be FASTER, we have to do it for less FEE, and still have to maintain a level of QUALITY in our documents. The PROBLEM is we don't have enough time to dedicate to training our staff, implementing quality management programs, all while getting the work done on time. This website provides training resources and time saving tools to help your architectural firm increase efficiency and the quality of your documents. If you are interested, please subscribe to my blog and send me an email, I'd love to hear from you.

  • High Quality = Cost Reduction

Research indicates increased document quality can decrease the cost of construction by 30 percent or more, due to decreases in change orders & schedule.

  • Poor Quality eats your profit

Poor quality documents increases the time you spend answering contractor questions & updating your documents, costing your firm valuable profits.

  • Reduced Change Orders & RFI's

Increased document quality reduces the number of change orders & RFI's. Reducing time spent in the CA phase can equal increased profits.

  • Coordination: The Biggest Quality issue

Interdisciplinary coordination is the biggest quality issue. It increases construction cost, and reduces design firm profits.
